Drazen Kapusta is CEO and a founder of Croatia's CBA Business School. After several years of planning and partnering, the new School was founded in 2003 in Zagreb, the capital of Croatia. Support for the school is the result of an appreciation for the demanding challenges ahead as the country progresses toward membership in the European Union.
CBA's vision emerges from the fact that business throughout the world is going through a deep transformation, leaving the Industrial Age and entering into the Knowledge Society. Due to the country's history and current situation, this transformation will be particularly demanding for Croatia, requiring the implementation of numerous changes that are both profound and rapid.
The school's mission is to help prepare leaders in their roles in this new society. The country cannot succeed without well-educated people willing to work creatively to make a difference. The School's goal is to help Croatia become a laboratory for the future for the European Union.
Although still a young organization, CBA has already gained outstanding attention and praise from leading experts and institutions throughout the world.
The school has succeeded in bringing together an exceptional educational program taught by a unique faculty of international lecturers, business experts and consultants. The result is unparalleled in this part of Europe, delivering the highest quality business education available in the region.
CBA's excellence is greatly aided by partnership and professional co-operation in its founding and from its main partner THE WORLD BUSINESS ACADEMY. Many Academy Fellows and Board Members teach at CBA Business School helping it to flourish. This includes Verna Alee, Peter Brew, Rinaldo Brutoco, James A. Cusumano, Marc Luyckz, F. Byron Nasher, Peter Senge, Margaret Wheatley, and Diane Whitney.
Before CBA, Drazen was a successful entrepreneur in Croatia and an international business consultant in marketing and strategy. His great passion is charity and volunteer work. He is a leader in major humanitarian projects in Croatia, with much of his work centered around Caritas. He is member of the board of the MBA program at KBF University in Croatia, a program developed for Non Profit Organizations.
