
H. James Brown is president and CEO of the Lincoln Institute of Land Policy. From 1970 to 1996, he was a professor at the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University. During this time he also served as chairman of the City and Regional Planning Program; director of the State, Local and Intergovernmental Center at Harvard University; and director of the MIT/Harvard University Joint Center for Urban Studies. A specialist in land use, housing and regional economics, he has edited and published numerous books and articles.
