Kathleen M. Gardarian is Founder and CEO of Qualis International, Inc., a sales and distribution company started in 1988 in Orange County, California. There are eight distribution locations nationwide.
Kathleen was born in New York and came to Southern California when she was eight years old. She studied business and psychology at UCLA, and was on the board of The Institute of Transpersonal Psychology for five years in Palo Alto, CA.
She is also a Founding Trustee of The World Business Academy, and on the board of that organization since 1989. Kathleen served on a public company board, Vans, Inc. for ten years, until they were sold in 2004. In the past, she has also served on the boards of The State of The World Forum: Gorbachev Foundation, The Forum for Corporate Directors, and The Woman's Leadership Board at the JFK School of Government and Public Policy at Harvard University. She has recently joined the Board of Counselors for Chapman University, serving at The Argyros School of Business and Economics, and The Leatherby School for Entrepreneurs and Ethics.
Kathleen is a member of the National Woman's Philanthropy Fund: The Alexis de Tocqueville Society. She is active in speaking and mentoring woman in business.
Qualis International was named one of the top five hundred woman-owned businesses in America in 2005.
