The Academy is a global, membership-based, non-profit, non-political organization that calls for a fundamental redefinition of business as a social partner. It is a collaborative international network of business executives, scholars and entrepreneurs dedicated to building a better world through business.

 

The biggest single expectation for new Members is a very deep commitment to taking responsibility for the whole. As play their role in business, Academy members perceive societal obligations that extend far beyond the heedless pursuit of traditional quantifiable dollars-per-share on investment. Central to Academy membership is awareness that, with hands uniquely on the levers of power, they bear an obligation as global citizens to insure that the greatest good is done for the greatest number. To perform this task, members believe that the single most critical change factor is one’s own personal and spiritual evolution.

 

Academy Members recognize the responsibility of business to society relative to critical moral, environmental, and social dilemmas. Every decision made and every action taken is viewed in that light. The Academy acknowledges a triple bottom line: people, planet, and profits. Members engage each other in interactive dialogue to advance the Academy’s mission. As such, it is an honor to be invited into the Academy to participate and contribute to the dialogue.

 

There are two main categories of membership in the Academy: Members and Subscribers.

 

Member annual dues are $500, which entitles them to receive all publications, gift books and digital audio recordings. They have complete access to the online Resource Directory of Members and Fellows. They receive priority invitations and preferential seating at Academy functions. However, the most important benefit is that they can partake in the online dialogue with other Members and Fellows to co-create a new global business paradigm.

 

Subscribers are those who wish to receive only the publications of the Academy. They do not partake in the dialogue with other Members and Fellows and do not have complete access to the resource information about them. Subscriber annual dues are $150. Subscriptions are billed on a yearly basis. If at anytime you decide to discontinue your subscription, the Academy will provide you a prorated refund on your subscription.
